IT/Tech: Sleek, upbeat and current. That’s the image for most tech companies. Having to show they are on the cutting edge, these logos tend to evolve a bit more quickly than other logos. Logos that look good on a small square mobile app on an iPhone is the look many are going for these days, with an extra dose of shiny/glossy. However, with the recent Google and Windows logos- it seems a flat metro look is making a strong comeback. Amen to that!
Children: It may seem simple at first, kids like fun, make it playful and happy and the kids will like it. But what is essential here is the logo isn’t just aimed at the kids, but the parents also. A playful tone, but showing the parents it’s safe, educational and helpful is also a message that needs to be considered when making a logo for young tikes.
